Booster Store

An all-purpose school store selling school supplies, SAS spirit apparel, gifts and snacks. Staffed by a roster of high school parent volunteers. In addition, Booster online store is available 24/7 as a convenient option. Pre-order and pick up at Booster store or choose home delivery.

Design

Focuses on the designing of spirit apparel and gift items sold in the Booster store and online. Volunteers design merchandise along with the planning, development, sourcing, selecting, negotiating and buying of materials for production.

Spirit Sale

Hosts sale of school spirit merchandise outside of normal Booster Store hours at school events such as IASAS, sports exchanges, PTA International Fair, swim meets, Friday Night Lights and other special events.

Senior Spirit Day

A unique monthly celebration of our senior class. Enthusiastic senior moms plan, coordinate and execute a low-key themed event on campus involving food, decorations, giveaways, as these students transition through their last year at SAS.

BBQ Concession

A favorite among students, admin, parents and visitors! Scrumptious hamburgers and hotdogs are grilled during Pep Rallies, IASAS, exchanges and other community gatherings. Always a sell-out event!

Bake Sale

Bakes and organizes for the sale of sweet treats and savory bites. Coordinates themed events focused around various ethnic foods such as Indian, Japanese, Korean, and Philippine, along with a variety of baked goods.

Popcorn

Using our popcorn machines, volunteers make and distribute FREE popcorn on semester exam review day and during special events. Students love this special treat!

Friday Night Lights

A family fun evening of seasonal sports, BBQ, family games, treats and loads of cheering for the SAS Eagles! Held each semester, this is a great community event for the whole family to show their Eagle spirit.

Hospitality

Organizes food and beverages for Booster Board meetings, volunteer appreciation and holiday lunches, and parent hospitality rooms during IASAS events.

Student Luncheons

Sponsors celebratory events like Scholars List Lunch and Senior Celebration Lunch. The committee is responsible for coordinating with HS Admin on student qualification and invitations, and event themes. Large event planning, from vendor sourcing, managing parent volunteers, to event hosting.

Visual & Performance Arts

Hosts receptions for art exhibitions, band, choir, strings, drama and dance performances, courtesy of the Booster Club. Committee members assist with set-up, ordering refreshments, decorations and reception hosts.

eNews

Coordinates with SAS Communications to publicize the Booster Club events and announcements in SAS weekly eNews.

Publicity

Designs posters, brochures and programs as needed by committees. Promotes Booster activities on the SAS Booster social media platforms. Ensures accurate information on Booster Club webpage, under SAS website.

Booster Scholarship

Each year, Booster Club awards ten Senior students a S$2,000 scholarship award based on essay submissions. Applications open to all Seniors in March.
